After-Printing

Here are many surface treatments to serve your products more attractive. From lamination to varnish, debossing to embossing and hot foiling to UV spot, all of these allow for an array of designs to be tailored. Also, whatever big or small brands rely on the variety of treatments to enhance the visual properties of packaging products.

Traditionally, matt or gloss lamination is the most common option to be used for tear-resistant and water-resistant. Sometimes, holographic or soft-touch or anti-scratch lamination will be applied to output a more luxury effect.

Foiling is to apply metallic foil or holograms to papers by using heat and pressure. It can be combined with debossing and embossing for 3D structure. Foiling is widely used in the packaging products like luxury, beauty, wine, food, gifting and fashion.

Spot UV, or spot varnishing, is an ornamentation which can be added after printing. Before spot UV is done, the printing and lamination or other surface finish will be done, so the spot UV is always the third process. Adding spot UV on a solid color is a great option, it can define the letters as well.
